Dhokla is a food common in the Gujarat state of India. It is made from soaked and freshly ground channa dal or channa flour Khaman Dhokla is very popular in India.

Preparation time - 10 minute

Cooking time - 20 minute

Serve - 20 piece


1.½ cup Gram flour

½ tsp Ginger paste

1 tsp Chopped green chili

¼ tsp Turmeric powder

1 tsp Sugar

½ tsp Salt

1 tsp Lemon juice

1 tsp Refine oil

1 cup Water

½ tsp Baking powder

⅓ tsp Baking soda

For tempering :-

3 tsp Refine oil

½ tsp Mustard seeds

8-10 Curry leaves

2 Slit green chillies

¼ cup Water

1 tsp Sugar

¼ tsp Salt

1 tsp Lemon juice

Procedure :-

1. Sieve the gram flour in a bowl.

2. Add ginger paste, chopped green chili, turmeric, sugar, salt, lemon juice and oil.

3. Make a smooth mixture with a little water and cover for 10 minutes.

4. On the other hand, lightly brush the cake mold / bowl.

5. Open the lid, shake a little with baking powder and baking soda and immediately pour it in a bowl and let it boil for 20 minutes.

6. Put oil in a pan, add mustard, curry leaves, green chilli and boil it with water, sugar, lemon juice and salt.Spread the prepared dhokla on it.

7. Cut into small squares and serve.

ধোকলা ভারতের গুজরাট রাজ্যে একটি প্রচলিত খাবার। এটি ভিজিয়ে রাখা ছোলা এবং বা বেসন আটা থেকে তৈরি। খামান ধোকলা ভারতে খুব জনপ্রিয়।
