Preparation time - 20 minutes

Cooking time - 60 minutes

Ingredients -

For the masala paste -


½ cup Birista

4 - 5 nos Dry Red chili

10 nos Cashew nuts

3 tsp Poppy seeds

5 tbsp Water


For crushed whole spices -


Green cardamom

Black cardamom

Black peppercorn

Cloves

Cinnamon stick

1 nos Mace

2 nos bay leaf


Other ingredients -


500 gm Mutton

2 tbsp Ghee

4 tbsp Olive oil

2 nos Onion ( grated)

2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste

2 tsp Coriander powder

3 tbsp Curd

1 drops of kewra essence

Water as required

Salt to taste


Procedure -


1. In a mixture grinder add all ingredients listed under " masala paste" and blend it into a smooth paste.

2. Heat oil and ghee in a pressure cooker, add crushed spices and stir for few seconds. Then add grated onion, and fry on medium flame till it starts changing colour.
