Mutton Biryani Recipe | How to Make Mutton Biryani at Home | মটন বিরিয়ানি তৈরী করার সহজ পদ্ধতি

Mutton Biryani is a royal dish that indeed needs no introduction or mentions. The beautifully spiced and fragrant layers of biryani rice centred with juicy, tender meat and masalas, bliss!

Ingredients -

To marinate the mutton

1 kg Mutton

100 gm Yoghurt

1 tsp Biryani masala

½ tsp Red chili powder

½ tsp Ginger paste

1 tsp Garlic paste

½ tsp Birista

For Biriyani gravy -

3 Potato

2 tsp Lemon juice

⅓ cup Birista

1 tsp Biriyani masala

40 gm Khoya kheer

1 cup Lukewarm milk

4 strands Saffron

½ cup Milk

3-4 drops Meetha attar

30 gm Melted butter

20 gm Melted ghee


For cook rice

500 gm Basmati rice

3 Bay leaves

1.½ inch Cinnamon stick

3 - 4 Cloves

2 Cardamom

Water as needed


Procedure: -

Marinate & cook the mutton -

1.In a large bowl, add yoghurt, biriyani masala,red chili powder, ginger, garlic and birista. Make a paste then add mutton. Marinate for 1 - 2 hours.


2.Heat of oil in a pan, add potato. Fry the potatoes until golden. Take them out and set it aside.


3.Transfer the marinated mutton to a pressure cooker & also add fried potatoes.Add water as need
